Also, this should be taken in account: if you want to be friended, go right ahead and ask. You don't have to have something in common with me; while it's a plus (makes for great conversations), it's not necessary in the least.
I don't really *do* actresses/female musicians, but I do have my favourites. Selma Blair, Jennifer Saunders, Johanna Lumley, Jennifer Garner, Judy Greer, Angelina Jolie and Uma Thurman make up my favourite actresses and Megan McCauley, Butterfly Boucher, Lady Gaga, Kate Nash, Britney Spears and Utada Hikaru make up my favourite female musicians.
I don't do male musicians at all. I don't know what it is, but very few have really wowed me in concerns to being able to sing, song-write and write their own music. Considering most don't, well...you get the picture.
I love actors...I am a woman myself, but I have to admit: men have that done pat. They are always able to devote a part of themselves, whether mentally or physically, to their part, to their movie or to their script. It's a stunning and beautiful thing to see. My favourites? Gerard Butler, Will Smith, Zac Efron, Nicolas Cage, Robert Downey Jr., Steven Strait, Gaspard Ulliel, Wilson Bros. (all three!), Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell, Chris Evans and Sean Connery...and a good bunch more!
I love bands, whether male/female, or a mixture. I love them, because it's not just about singing into a microphone or dancing around a stage for me. I am big into the instrumental value of bands, and hearing a band come up with a melody is even more beautiful than the art of acting. It's melody pulls me in, their lyrics open me up to what I cannot see and the blend of instruments call out to me. My favourites include Placebo, Breaking Benjamin, The Blood Brothers, A Perfect Circle, Duran Duran, Maroon 5, Third Eye Blind, Panic at the Disco, mewithoutYou, Tool, Paramore, Lorene Drive, Nickelback, Collective Soul...the list goes on, of course!
I like Anime/Manga, too, but it doesn't necessarily rule my life. My favourites are Bleach, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist and InuYasha.
I love TV, too, but that's a given—my family is a TV-watching kind of group. My favourites have to be Supernatural, Smallville, Merlin, Family Guy, Criminal Minds, NCIS, CSI: Miami, The Big Bang Theory, HIMYM, Little Britain and Leverage.
TV shows off-air that I love would be Queer as Folk, Absolutely Fabulous, Roswell, Angel, French and Saunders, Futurama and The X-Files.
I love movies but there are too many to name. I love action, thriller and horror the most, but comedy and historical-like movies are a close second.
Fashion, Literature and Web Development should be realised, as well - so much so, I'm more known for those interests than anything else. In fact, it's more than likely you are friending me/thinking about friending me because I have ranted/done something to echo one of those three things.
